– Umar ibn al-Khattab (reported in Sunan Abu Dawud)
Swimming builds full-body strength, endurance, and coordination. It develops stamina while improving flexibility and overall fitness in a low-impact, balanced way.
Swimming encourages focus and control, training the mind to stay calm, present, and consistent through each movement and breath.
Caring for one’s health is part of fulfilling the trust given by Allah. The Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and grant him peace) said:
“Your body has a right over you.”
Through swimming, a believer maintains strength and well-being to better serve and worship Allah.
Swimming brings a sense of calm and relaxation, helping to ease stress and refresh the mind, leaving one feeling balanced and renewed.
