About the KMY Youth Centre
The KMY Youth Centre is a vibrant and inclusive community hub dedicated to empowering and supporting the youth of Kingston upon Thames and its surrounding areas. Our centre is a safe and welcoming space where young individuals can gather, engage, and grow.
Our primary goal is to provide a wide range of programmes, activities, and resources that cater to the diverse interests and needs of the young population. From educational workshops and career development initiatives to recreational events and creative arts classes, there is something for everyone at the KMY Youth Centre.
By working with like-minded organisations, local schools, academics, scholars and through consultation, we strive to foster a sense of belonging and a positive sense of self in our young visitors. We encourage leadership, teamwork, and social skills through various group activities and volunteer opportunities.
Our centre also emphasises the importance of physical and mental well-being. We offer various facilities, fitness programmes, and support services to ensure the holistic development of our youth.
At the new Youth Centre, we have invested in equipment and activities, including table tennis, pool table, PS5, TV screens and much more! We will also be offering several regular services and activities, accommodating for a range of different interests and needs.
